The first cross-border aircraft leasing business in Henan province has landed

The ATR72-600 aircraft delivered this time was introduced by Henan Aviation Investment Leasing to Cambodia National Airlines (hereinafter referred to as "Air Cambodia"). It is the first aircraft in the purchase agreement signed between Henan Aviation Investment Leasing and French regional aircraft company AVIONS DE TRANSPORT Regional G.I.E. (hereinafter referred to as "ATR") in 2024 for three aircraft of the same model. According to the plan, the remaining two aircraft are scheduled to be delivered by the end of this year and will be put into operation by Air Cambodia.

The current operating fleet of Air Cambodia includes ATR72 series and Airbus A320 series aircraft, playing a key role in the Southeast Asian route network. In recent years, Air Cambodia has continued to expand into the Chinese market and opened the Phnom Penh Zhengzhou route in 2022. In 2023, the Chinese headquarters will be located in the Zhengzhou Airport Zone, becoming the first foreign airline to establish a Chinese headquarters in Henan.

This delivery is another breakthrough in the field of aircraft leasing for Zhengzhou Airport Zone, which focuses on the construction of the 'Air Silk Road' demonstration zone. The relevant person in charge of the Aerospace Command of Zhengzhou Airport Economic Comprehensive Experimental Zone introduced that the cross-border dual offshore aircraft leasing model of 'two ends outside' not only creates a new model for Henan's aircraft leasing business, but also a vivid practice of 'new offshore trade' in the aviation finance field, demonstrating the international competitiveness and new heights of open cooperation of Zhengzhou Airport Zone.

This cooperation will further enhance the accessibility of the Henan Cambodia ASEAN "Air Silk Road" and accumulate valuable experience for the international development of Henan aviation finance. With the delivery of the following two aircraft, the cooperation between Henan and Cambodia Airlines will reach new heights.
