Sichuan Guishen Humanoid Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guishen Technology") recently announced plans to release the emotional robot product "Aiqiu EMO1" by the end of 2025, which will be the first emotional robot in Sichuan. Meanwhile, Guishen Technology announced that it has completed tens of millions of yuan in angel round financing.
According to embodied technology, the product is equipped with a self-developed emotional cognition system that can achieve anthropomorphic interaction.
Embodied technology launches Sichuan's first emotional robot
Guishen Technology was established in September 2024, with its core technology team sourced from the entrepreneurial team of the Robotics Research Center at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Sichuan Machinery Research and Design Institute (Group) Co., Ltd. and Chuanha Institute invested in the company.
The commercial humanoid robot "Skywalker 1" previously launched by the company took only 69 days from blueprint design to product landing. The robot is 165 centimeters tall, weighs about 50 kilograms, and has a range of up to one and a half hours.
It is reported that "Skywalker 1" will be integrated with electronic skins and other functions to further enhance intelligence and stability, and is expected to start partial mass production in March. The bipedal dynamic balance algorithm of this series breaks through the difficulty of walking on complex terrain and will be piloted in the field of intelligent manufacturing.
Recently, Guishen Technology announced the completion of tens of millions of yuan in angel round financing, with a valuation of hundreds of millions of yuan. This financing will focus on the research and development of emotion driven engines, aiming to enable humanoid robots to truly enter the human emotional world.
At the same time, Feng Zhenyu, CEO of embodied technology, announced plans to release a disruptive product - the emotional robot "Aiqiu EMO1" - by the end of 2025.
According to technical personnel, "Aiqiu EMO1" will be equipped with a self-developed emotional cognition system, which can achieve anthropomorphic interaction through micro expression recognition, context analysis, and tactile feedback.
It is worth mentioning that the "Frontier Research Center for Interactive Humanoid Robots" jointly established by Guishen Technology and Tianfu Jiangxi Laboratory has launched research on brain computer interface fusion, which may achieve ideational human-machine interaction in the future.
According to the "Overall Work Plan for the Artificial Intelligence Industry Chain in Sichuan Province (2024-2027)" (referred to as the "Plan") issued by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the main carriers of Sichuan's humanoid robot industry are Chengdu and Mianyang. Chengdu has made it clear that by 2026, it will strive to significantly improve the innovation ability of Chengdu's robot industry, create 100 new robot products, gather 100 upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain, and create 100 benchmark demonstration scenes. The scale of the whole industrial chain will exceed 60 billion yuan, and build a new growth pole and demonstration application highland for the research, development and manufacturing of humanoid robots in China.
