Ningde Times CTP 2.0 high-end battery pack production line is put into operation at the Seres super factory

Yesterday, CATL officially put into operation two CTP 2.0 high-end battery pack production lines at the Serys Super Factory. This is the first base established by CATL in Chongqing, and for the first time, it adopts a "factory within factory" cooperation model to supply power battery systems for localized production of the WENJIE series models.

The production line put into operation today is the most advanced intelligent and digital production line of CATL, "said Zeng Yuqun, Chairman and CEO of CATL, in his speech. This production is not only the beginning of CATL's localized production in Chongqing, but also a new starting point for cooperation with Wenjie.

Zhang Xinghai, Chairman and Founder of SAIC Group, pointed out that the high-end batteries exclusively provided by CATL for the WENJIE series models have been officially put into production at the SAIC Super Factory, which is a milestone for WENJIE Automobile. "When WENJIE's high-end intelligent electric vehicles are paired with CATL's high-end batteries designed and manufactured, it is like a good horse with a good saddle

Since its establishment, all models of Wanjie have been equipped with CATL batteries, and the cumulative market ownership has exceeded 700000 units. The launch of the "factory within factory" model by CATL will further assist Wenjie in improving production and delivery speed, and shorten the customer delivery cycle.

According to IT Home, the two parties have previously expanded their cooperation to the zero carbon field, jointly building and successfully connecting the first phase of the Sailis Super Factory 50MWh distributed photovoltaic project to provide core green energy for the factory.
