Singapore Startup Sharpa Wins CES 2026 Award for AI Robotic Hand

Singapore technology company Sharpa has won a CES 2026 Innovation Award for its AI-powered robotic hand, SharpaWave, in the robotics category.


The robotic hand features 22 degrees of freedom and an advanced tactile sensing system that allows for precise, human-like manipulation. According to Sharpa, the technology is designed for applications in robotics research, medical rehabilitation and advanced automation.


Sharpa stated that the award recognizes its efforts to develop robotic hardware that combines mechanical precision with AI-driven perception and control.
