Zoomlion Displays Achievements at the World Robot Conference

The 2025 World Robot Conference will be held in Beijing from August 8th to 12th, with the theme of "making robots smarter and embodied intelligence smarter", bringing together the top intelligence and cutting-edge technologies in the global robotics field. As a leading global equipment manufacturing enterprise, Zoomlion shared with the attendees the application of industrial robots and humanoid robots in the manufacturing industry from a comprehensive perspective of intelligent manufacturing and intelligent robot research and development. It comprehensively presented the development from "environment adaptive robots" to "robots adapting to the environment", showcased Zoomlion's latest achievements in embodied intelligent humanoid robots, and future plans in the field of intelligent manufacturing, providing a new model for the intelligent transformation of the manufacturing industry.


The main forum of the 2025 World Robot Conference is divided into three chapters: "Industrial Development, Innovative Applications, and Technological Integration". It is worth noting that in the keynote speech of this forum, Zoomlion is the only complete machine enterprise that has already been listed on the A-share market, and the only Chinese enterprise in the innovation application section.


Zeng Guang, General Manager of Zoomlion Cloud Valley, introduced that Zoomlion is one of the earliest users in the construction machinery industry to apply robot technology. As early as 2006, Zoomlion Crane Machinery Factory was the first to introduce programmable industrial robotic arms, mainly used for welding operations of crane components.


Since 2019, Zoomlion has been extensively using adaptive robots with perception and mobility capabilities, mainly including robotic arms with visual and tactile recognition, AMR autonomous mobile robots, etc. The Zhonglian Smart Industry City, located in Changsha, Hunan, has integrated and built over 300 intelligent manufacturing production lines, using more than 2000 industrial robots. The entire process, from steel plate storage to outbound, to cutting, welding, machining, painting, and final assembly, is traced and scheduled throughout the entire lifecycle through QR codes.


"The thousands of robots in the whole factory are like a symphony orchestra. Each musician can play different notes in different tracks, and the orchestra conductor commands and dispatches them in a unified way. This musician is an adaptive robot, and the orchestra conductor is an AI industrial Internet platform. The factory switches to produce different types of products at any time, and truly achieves" on-demand production, flexible response ". It is the first time in the world to realize large-scale agile manufacturing of multi variety, small batch heavy equipment, adaptive multi link production processes, diversified processing objects, and multi-path process routes can be implemented." Zeng Guang introduced.
