The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has announced plans to expand its urban sensor network and IoT infrastructure in an effort to improve logistics efficiency and transportation flow across the city.

Under the initiative, new sensors will be deployed at key freight corridors, logistics hubs and industrial zones to collect real-time data that can optimize traffic routing and supply chain coordination. Urban planners say the expanded network is part of broader efforts to position Bangkok as a smart city capable of supporting modern industrial logistics and sustainable economic growth.
