China (Guangdong) - ASEAN Enterprise International Supply Chain Cooperation Alliance established

Guangzhou, June 10th (Xinhua) - The 2025 China (Guangdong) - ASEAN Trade Promotion and Supply Chain Cooperation Mechanism Construction Matchmaking Exchange Conference was held in Guangzhou on the 10th, and the China (Guangdong) - ASEAN Enterprise International Supply Chain Cooperation Alliance was established at the conference.

This exchange meeting is hosted by the People's Government of Guangdong Province and jointly organized by multiple units such as the China ASEAN Business Council and the Guangdong Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The aim is to further promote cross-border cooperation in the industrial and supply chains between Guangdong and ASEAN, and to promote the growth of two-way trade and investment. Nearly 200 foreign guests, including government officials from ASEAN countries, consuls general of consulates in Guangzhou, heads of international organizations and business institutions, representatives from overseas Chinese and business communities, attended the exchange meeting.

Among them, the China (Guangdong) - ASEAN Enterprise International Supply Chain Cooperation Alliance, established at the meeting, is committed to implementing the "China ASEAN Strategic Partnership Vision 2030", gathering leading enterprises and advantageous resources in the industrial chain and supply chain fields of China (Guangdong) and ASEAN countries, focusing on industrial digitization, intelligence, and green transformation, strengthening open communication and cooperation, and jointly building a safe, stable, smooth, efficient, and mutually beneficial cross-border industrial chain and supply chain. It regularly organizes economic and trade exchanges, project cooperation, policy promotion, market research, consulting services and other activities.

In addition, the Guangdong Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade has signed memorandums of cooperation with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce, the Lao National Chamber of Commerce, the Brunei National Chamber of Commerce, and the Malaysia China Business Council.

The Guangdong Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade stated that it will collaborate with all parties to fully utilize their respective resources and channels, and build platforms and explore potential for promoting cooperation between Guangdong and all parties in the fields of economy, trade, technology, culture, education, tourism, etc.

The event on that day also facilitated seven cooperation projects, including the Indonesian coal mine investment cooperation between Guangdong Import and Export Co., Ltd. and China Qinfa Group, and the strategic cooperation between Guangdong Tourism Holdings Group Co., Ltd. and NEW HUA SHENG2022 CO., LTD., involving a total amount of over 3.1 billion US dollars.
