On May 14, 2025, the China-Thailand High-End Forum on Intelligent Manufacturing and Industrial Cooperation under Thai “Industry 4.0” was successfully held at the Fly Beyond Hotel in Bangkok. The forum was hosted by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), co-organized by Hangzhou Tanda Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., and executed by Ringier Events. It brought together senior officials, renowned enterprises, and industry experts from both countries to explore cooperation opportunities in smart manufacturing, automation, and localization.
Key speakers and highlights included:
Dr. Prapin Abhinorasaeth, President of the Thai Automation and Robotics Association, presented Thailand’s “Industry 4.0” strategic roadmap and future business opportunities.
Mr. Chodnarin Vipada, Secretary-General of the Thai Packaging Design Association and R&D Manager of Malaplast Co., Ltd., discussed the development trends and investment potential in Thailand’s packaging and automation sectors.
Mr. Leardchai Lamthaisong, Senior Investment Promotion Officer at the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), shared insights on investment policies and incentives in the Thai market.
Mr. Li Baoqiang, Deputy Director of the Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering Institute, Sixth Design & Research Institute of Machinery Industry, introduced China’s solutions and progress in the field of smart manufacturing.
Mr. Ni Kan, Deputy General Manager of Hangzhou Tanda Machinery Import & Export Co., Ltd., elaborated on the China Machinery & Electronic Products (Thailand) Service Center, highlighting its service offerings in equipment showcasing, local distribution, and after-sales support.
The forum also welcomed participation from prominent Thai companies such as Thai Summit Group, ALSIN Autoparts (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Sammitr Group, fostering dialogues on industrial transformation and cross-border collaboration.
A highlight of the forum was the inauguration ceremony of the China Machinery & Electronic Products (Thailand) Service Center, jointly established by CCCME and Hangzhou Tanda Machinery. The center serves as a key platform supporting the localization of Chinese industrial products in Thailand.
The forum concluded with a China-Thailand enterprise matchmaking session, encouraging business networking and cooperation, and laying a strong foundation for sustained bilateral industrial development.
