China's first electromagnetic catapult aircraft carrier enters service

Thus, China has entered the era of three aircraft carriers.

According to the Chinese military media Liberation Army Daily on November 7th, the flag unveiling ceremony for China's first electromagnetic catapult aircraft carrier, Fujian, was held on November 5th at a military port in Sanya, Hainan. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, President of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended the flag presentation ceremony and boarded the ship for inspection.

On November 5th, in the military port of Sanya, the Fujian ship stood on the sea with its flag hanging high, while the Shandong ship was accompanied by waves. More than 2000 representatives from the navy and aircraft carrier construction units lined up neatly at the dock, creating a grand and lively atmosphere.

At around 4:30 pm on the same day, the flag laying ceremony began, with the entire audience singing the national anthem of the People's Republic of China and the five starred red flag slowly rising. The ceremonial guards escorted the flag of the August 1st Army and marched straight to the front of the podium.       The ceremony of commissioning and awarding the flag ended with the sound of the Chinese People's Liberation Army anthem.

On the spacious flight deck, four interception cables and three catapult takeoff positions are particularly prominent, and new carrier based aircraft such as J-35, J-15T, and KJ-600 are parked one after another.       Xi Jinping encourages everyone to continuously improve their professional skills and combat capabilities, and contribute to the construction of the combat effectiveness of the Fujian warship.
