Chinese Ambassador to Thailand Han Zhiqiang and his wife bid farewell to pay respects to the King and Queen of Thailand

Han Zhiqiang stated that in his nearly four years as the Chinese Ambassador to Thailand, he has participated in and witnessed the continuous deepening of bilateral relations, and personally felt the personal concern and guidance of the two heads of state for the good neighborly and friendly cooperation between China and Thailand. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. China is willing to work with Thailand to carry forward the fine tradition of helping each other in the same boat, to help each other overcome difficulties, and to promote the building of a community of common destiny between China and Thailand to go deeper and more practical, so as to better benefit the two peoples. The Chinese side warmly welcomes His Majesty the King and Queen's state visit to China and will provide the highest level of reception to ensure a successful visit.

King Vajiralongkorn stated that the friendship between Thailand and China has a long history, with close relations between the two countries and deep feelings between the people. I hope both sides can work together to enhance people to people exchanges and achieve common development. Thank you for the hard work and important contributions made by the ambassador to the development of Thailand China relations during his tenure. He visited many places in China many times in his early years, leaving a good impression. He looks forward to visiting China again and experiencing the new development, changes, and prosperity of China with his own eyes.
