Deng Xijun stated that peaceful coexistence and cooperative development are in line with the common interests of Cambodia and Thailand and their peoples. China is willing to promote the implementation of the Peace Consensus among the Foreign Ministers of China, Cambodia, and Thailand, support Cambodia and Thailand in strengthening dialogue and consultation, support ASEAN in resolving disputes properly in the "ASEAN way", and is willing to continue providing necessary assistance to achieve a sustainable ceasefire and promote the turnaround of Cambodia Thailand relations.
The Cambodian side appreciates the significant efforts made by the Chinese side over the past period to ease the border situation between Cambodia and Thailand and promote peaceful resolution of disputes, and welcomes the Chinese side to continue playing a constructive role.
