According to the official account of the Chinese People's Navy, on October 14, the 83 ship formation of the Chinese Navy successfully completed a four-day friendly visit to Cambodia and set off for Thailand.

At 10:00 am local time on October 14th, the Cambodian side held a farewell ceremony at the Sihanouk Port terminal. More than 300 people, including staff from the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, representatives from Chinese funded institutions, overseas Chinese, representatives from the Cambodian government and military, came to the dock to bid farewell. The officers, soldiers, and student representatives of the 83 ship formation lined up in different areas and waved goodbye to the departing personnel.

During the visit, the formation commander paid a visit to the Cambodian military and civilian leaders. The visiting officers and soldiers had discussions and exchanges with relevant personnel from Chinese funded institutions, visited and comforted local Chinese schools, and held exchange activities such as sports friendly matches with Cambodian naval officers and soldiers. During the berthing period, the 83 ship formation organized multiple ship opening activities, and local residents, Chinese and overseas Chinese, and personnel from Chinese funded institutions boarded the ships for visits.

On the evening of October 11th, the naval ship Qi Jiguang lit up all the lights and held a grand deck reception, attended by more than 200 people from both China and Cambodia. On the deck of the Qi Jiguang ship, traditional cultural exhibitions such as calligraphy, tea art, and ink painting were set up. Chinese officers and soldiers brought splendid performances such as singing and dancing, martial arts, and traditional Chinese instrument playing to guests, fully demonstrating the open and confident style of the navy officers and soldiers and winning praise from Cambodia.
