On July 3rd, on the ninth day of the sixth lunar month in China, the only maritime ethnic group in China, the Jing ethnic group, held a traditional ethnic festival called "Ha Festival" in Wanwei, Dongxing City, Fangchenggang, Guangxi. Representatives from Changwei District of Mangjie Market in Vietnam, which has established a "friendly village" with Wanwei, also came to attend.

In the morning of that day, people of all ages and genders from the Jing ethnic group, as well as tourists who came out of admiration, gathered inside and outside the Wanwei Ha Pavilion, with a sea of people on site. At the "Ha Festival" ceremony, people carried statues of gods to the seaside to welcome and pray for blessings, and the sound of gongs, drums, and firecrackers was very lively.
On the other hand, the traditional fishing experience projects of the Jing ethnic intangible cultural heritage, such as snail dredging and stilt fishing, carried out on Wanwei Jintan, also attract tourists to participate eagerly. During the "Ha Festival", various activities such as the long table banquet of intangible cultural heritage cuisine of the Jing ethnic group, the Sino Vietnamese solo qin exchange concert, and the summer village evening in Jing Island were also launched successively.
The Jing nationality is a nationality with a small population in China. It mainly lives in Wanwei, Wutou and Shanxin islands in Jiangping Town, Dongxing City, Fangchenggang. The "Ha Festival" of the Jing ethnic group, also known as the "Singing Ha Festival", is the grandest traditional festival of the Jing ethnic group every year, lasting for several days.
Du Jinchun, the district chief of Changtail District in Mang Street, Vietnam, who participated in this event, said that Changtail District also holds the "Ha Festival" every year, and the traditional ceremony is almost the same as the "Ha Festival" in Wanwei. Since the establishment of the "Friendship Village" between the two places 11 years ago, the "Ha Festival" has become one of the customary communication activities, and both sides have sent representatives to visit and exchange during this festival. In addition, on the annual anniversary of the establishment of friendship, both sides will also engage in exchanges and interactions to enhance their relationship.
