Thailand’s energy authorities have announced the reduction of certain liquefied natural gas (LNG) related tariffs applied to power generation, aiming to help lower energy costs for industrial users. The adjustment comes as part of national efforts to support the manufacturing sector amid rising fuel prices and global competition.

Officials said the tariff changes are expected to ease the cost of electricity for factories and major energy consumers, which rely heavily on LNG as a fuel source for power plants. The measures are part of broader efforts to stabilize the industrial energy environment and maintain Thailand’s manufacturing competitiveness.
