According to the official website of the China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, on June 24th, the 22nd China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit Liaison Officer Meeting was successfully held in Nanning, Guangxi, China. Li Qingshuang, Vice President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Liao Pinhu, Vice President of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Representatives from the embassies and consulates of ASEAN countries in China, national chambers of commerce and industry, and the China ASEAN Center attended the meeting. The meeting reported on the activity proposals for the 22nd China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit and solicited opinions from relevant representatives of ASEAN countries.

Li Qingshuang pointed out that as the highest level, largest scale, and most influential international economic and trade event between China and ASEAN, the summit focuses on serving the business community, responding to demands, building consensus, and promoting cooperation. Against the backdrop of high uncertainty in the current global economic outlook and the restructuring of the global industrial landscape empowered by digital intelligence, the upgraded development of the summit faces new opportunities and challenges. To prepare for this year's summit, Vice President Li Qingshuang proposed three suggestions: contributing to the construction of the Free Trade Zone 3.0 version, raising the banner of open cooperation, focusing on cooperation in emerging fields, cultivating new drivers of regional economic growth, innovating platform linkage functions, and achieving new efficiency in integrating summit resources.

Liao Pinhu stated that after 21 years of development, the China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit has played an important role in promoting the construction of a China ASEAN community with a shared future, practical cooperation in regional economic integration, and promoting Guangxi's opening-up and development. This year's summit will focus on empowering artificial intelligence and seizing opportunities of the times. As a co organizer and host of the summit, Guangxi will continue to provide excellent services and hopes to work together with all parties to promote cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, enhance the stability and competitiveness of cross-border industrial and supply chains, and promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation.

Yang Yanyan, Secretary General of the Secretariat of the China ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, announced the activity plan for the 22nd summit. The theme of the summit is "Empowering Development with Digital Intelligence, Leading the Future with Innovation - Building a Community of Shared Future with the New Opportunities of the China ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0 Version". A series of "main activities+supporting economic and trade activities+back-to-back activities" will be held, highlighting the core highlights of "Artificial Intelligence+Summit". Artificial intelligence technology will be applied throughout all aspects before, during, and after the summit, making artificial intelligence visible, perceptible, touchable, and accessible, and promoting the summit to become a public product and innovation platform for the regional business community to share the application achievements of artificial intelligence technology.

The attending representatives had in-depth discussions on the preparation work and activity arrangement of the 22nd summit, unanimously agreed on the activity arrangement plan of this summit, and generally expressed recognition of the summit's highlight of "Artificial Intelligence+Summit", and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions.
