ASEAN Headline The China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo WeChat official account news, on May 26, the China ASEAN Economic and Trade Forum was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ren Hongbin stated that in April of this year, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Malaysia, and other three ASEAN countries reached a series of important consensuses with their leaders, writing a new chapter in the construction of a community with a shared future in the surrounding areas and outlining a new vision for China to work with neighboring countries to promote stability and prosperity. The positioning of China Malaysia relations has risen to a high-level strategic China Malaysia community with a shared future. China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) is willing to work with the business community of ASEAN countries, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both sides, actively participate in the high-quality joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", make full use of RCEP and other free trade agreements, promote the upgrading of bilateral economic and trade cooperation, strengthen the coordinated development of the industrial chain supply chain, deepen practical cooperation in multilateral fields, actively participate in the ASEAN China GCC summit, and help the process of regional integration.
ASEAN officials generally indicate that the current regional supply chain is accelerating its restructuring, and there is ample room for cooperation between ASEAN and China in terms of technological innovation and industrial synergy. The Chain Expo has provided an important platform for countries to deepen mutual trust and expand cooperation. ASEAN countries, including Malaysia, attach great importance to industrial and supply chain cooperation with China, and will actively participate in the third Chain Expo to jointly build an open, stable, and sustainable regional supply chain system, promote mutual benefit and common development.
This forum is jointly hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Malaysia China Business Council, with nearly 200 representatives from trade and investment promotion agencies, business associations, and enterprises from China and ASEAN countries participating. China Exhibition Group has signed cooperation agreements with relevant institutions in ASEAN countries.
