The China ASEAN Exhibition AI Model Empowers the Economic and Trade Connection of the East China Expo

Nanning, July 22 (Xinhua) -- The Secretariat of the China ASEAN Expo (referred to as the East Expo) announced on July 22 that the layout of artificial intelligence (AI) large-scale models for China ASEAN exhibitions is accelerating, covering 24 application scenarios, and plans to enter the design demonstration stage in the near future. This large model will make its debut at the 22nd East Expo, forming a landmark achievement and assisting in the economic and trade docking of the exhibition.

The East Expo is an important open cooperation platform between China and ASEAN. The 22nd East Expo, scheduled to be held in September this year, will highlight the theme of artificial intelligence.

As a senior consultant of the East Expo, Jiang Ming, Dean of the Metaverse Research Institute at Guilin University of Electronic Science and Technology, introduced that this year, the East Expo will use AI big models to create a "precise portrait" of exhibitors and buyers, that is, through AI analysis of the needs of both parties, product characteristics, past cooperation preferences, technology, and industry trends for new demand prediction, etc., intelligent matching is expected to greatly improve the efficiency of exhibition docking. The East Expo will apply a large model that supports translation of multiple minority languages in ASEAN, helping Chinese and ASEAN enterprises better bridge the information gap and language barriers. In terms of exhibition setup, the East Expo specifically provides booth design tools based on AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content), making exhibition setup easy and efficient.

Jiang Ming stated that the East Expo is the best window to showcase China ASEAN cooperation in the field of AI, allowing ASEAN countries to have a more intuitive understanding of China's advanced AI technology and solutions, and enabling Chinese enterprises to better grasp the demands of the ASEAN market. The East Expo will also guide and consolidate consensus, promote the establishment of smoother AI technology standard docking, cross-border data cooperation and other mechanisms, and create a better ecosystem for China ASEAN cross-border AI innovation cooperation.

It is reported that the 22nd East Expo will set up its first artificial intelligence museum, showcasing cutting-edge technologies, high-precision products, typical application scenarios, etc. At the same time, multiple AI themed investment promotion activities will be held to promote the signing of more emerging industry projects between China and ASEAN.
