The King of Thailand Will Visit China and Become the First King of Thailand to Visit Chinese Mainland

Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Queen Sutida will officially visit China in November.

According to multiple Thai media reports, on October 18, 2025, the 22nd China International Agricultural Products Fair "Strong Agriculture Forum" was held at the Tianjin National Convention and Exhibition Center. Thailand, as the guest country of honor at this year's fair, sent a high-level delegation to attend.

Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Tamana Phongpo, stated in an interview with Chinese media at the forum that the King and Queen of Thailand will officially visit China in November.

According to ASEAN Headlines, the Thai royal family has a good relationship with China. Wajilalongkorn visited China when he was Crown Prince of Thailand. After his visit to China in November 2025, King Wajilalongkorn will become the first Thai king to visit the Chinese Mainland.   Vajiralongkorn's sister, Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand, has visited China more than 50 times and has been awarded the "Friendship Medal" of the People's Republic of China.
