Chengdu, June 12th (Xinhua) -- The "Lanmei Rong" fresh fruit special train, loaded with Southeast Asian fruits such as Thai durian and coconut green, arrived at Chengdu International Railway Port in Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu on the 12th. The special train is loaded at the Laos Vientiane South Station of the China Laos Railway, and after inspection at Mohan Port in Yunnan, it will arrive in Chengdu directly in the full cold chain mode of "one box to the end", and will be further distributed and sold in the port area.

It is reported that the value of this special train is about 12 million yuan, and it is the first Southeast Asian fruit mixed transport special train operated by the China Laos international train this year. Relying on full railway transportation and the "one box to the end" railway cold chain model, Southeast Asian fruits can be transported directly from Thailand to Chengdu in as fast as 72 hours, with a loss rate approaching zero.

Chen Chuan, the representative of the traders and the deputy general manager of Chengdu International Railway Port Economic and Technological Development Zone Construction and Development Co., Ltd., said that the timeliness and stability of the China Laos Railway have greatly shortened the time from the origin to the market of tropical fruits, not only allowing consumers to taste more fresh fruits, but also effectively reducing logistics costs. In the future, it will continue to rely on the convenience of the China Laos Railway to further expand the category and scale of fruit imports in Southeast Asia.

Chengdu International Railway Port is located in Qingbaijiang District.
