The reception for the 72nd anniversary of the independence of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the 67th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and China was held in Beiji

Song Jiawei introduced at the reception that November 9th is the 67th anniversary of Cambodia's declaration of independence from France, and also the day of the establishment of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. This day reminds all Cambodians to remember the heroic leadership, unwavering dedication, and royal mission of His Majesty Norodom Sihanouk, the father of national independence

Under the wise leadership of former Prime Minister and current Senate Chairman, Prince Hun Sen, Cambodia has achieved complete peace, national reconciliation, and political stability. It has transformed from a war-torn country to one of the fastest-growing economies in the region, and is expected to maintain a steady growth rate of about 4.8% by 2025, "said Song Jiawei. Currently, under the strong leadership of Cambodian Prime Minister, Prince Hun Sen, Cambodia is continuing to promote the Five Corners Strategy, aiming to become a high-income country by 2050.

Song Jiawei stated that Cambodia will continue to adhere to the principles of permanent neutrality, non alignment, and peaceful coexistence, and is committed to resolving disputes through peaceful means, while firmly exercising national sovereignty, safeguarding national territorial integrity, and core interests. On October 26th, after signing a peace agreement in Kuala Lumpur, Cambodia and Thailand are fully and effectively implementing the Kuala Lumpur Joint Declaration with sincerity, goodwill, and transparency.
