Machine Features
1. General Use and Materials
The heavy-duty horizontal lathe is primarily used in the metallurgy industry. It utilizes high-speed steel or carbide tools to rough and finish machine workpieces made from plain steel, forged steel, cast iron, high-speed steel, and high-chromium steel. This machine is capable of performing high precision and high smoothness automatic turning operations on external cylinders, end faces, conical surfaces, grooves, and cuts.
2. Design and Structure
For machines with a three-guideway bed, motion is transmitted via screw and polished rod mechanisms. Machines with four-guideway beds and separate bed structures feature a separate drive structure for the main transmission and feed. The main spindle of the machine adopts a dual-support structure, providing excellent rotational rigidity and high torque output. The bed is designed with a bottom chip disposal method for easy chip removal.
3. Lubrication and Movement
All parts of the machine are equipped with individual oil pumps for forced lubrication. Both the tailstock and the tool post are equipped with features for rapid movement and end safety. The upper body of the tailstock uses a built-in structure, and the entire tailstock moves using a motorized device.
4. Performance Characteristics
